Hey, I’m Scott — welcome to Scott Wallace Guitar!
I’ve been playing guitar for over 18 years and have clocked up around 500 gigs along the way. Guitar has been a huge part of my life since I was 18 (I’m 36 at the time of writing this), and it’s brought me some of my happiest moments — performing for audiences, sharing the stage with friends, and meeting incredible people along the way. One of the biggest privileges has been playing at weddings. It’s something I never imagined when I first picked up a guitar, and to have been part of so many couples’ special days is something I truly treasure.
I’ve done the originals thing — six years building songs as a band from the ground up, recording two studio albums with plenty of layered guitar parts, and playing venues like Camden Barfly, O2 Academy 3 Birmingham, and the NEC.
Since 2014, I’ve been a founding member of Satellite Down, a corporate/wedding/function band that’s taken me to some incredible places — Birmingham ICC, Blenheim Palace, Cheltenham Racecourse, Clearwell Castle, and more. I’ve also guested with other bands and provided acoustic guitar accompaniment for singers in more intimate settings.
Right now, I’m excited about two things — my brand-new project, Eversonic, a female-fronted party band with fantastic vocalist Ioana, built to get crowds dancing and singing all night — and starting to share what I’ve learned by offering guitar tuition. After years on stage, I’m looking forward to helping others pick up the guitar, develop their skills, and experience the joy of making music.
My playing is shaped by a mix of influences — from the soulful rock of Richie Sambora, to the grit of Chris Robertson, and the high-energy spirit of Tom DeLonge and Jaret Reddick. I also love reworking songs for live performance — adapting arrangements and transposing parts to suit the instruments at hand, whether that means building them into a big, full-band moment or stripping them down for a more intimate vibe. I’m a big believer that live music should be exactly that, and I enjoy recreating songs and arrangements to keep performances fresh and engaging.
